I had to upgrade to windows vii OS after hard drive crash. Now neither my ipad2 nor my iphone can access my wifi via my d-link wireless router, it asks for the countersign when I choose the network but does not recognize the password on either device. I am unsure of the connection you have attempted to brand between Windows 7 and your Apple tree devices being unable to connect to your D-Link managed wireless network.
You take a wireless router [d-link] acting as your wireless access point - so your Windows 7 auto is not relevant when it comes to connecting other devices to the wireless network. The but thing that matters is the configuration of the wireless router (check out the manual/FAQs and d-links spider web pages) and the configuration on the Apple devices.

As said in other answers, Windows 7 doesn't have anything to do with this upshot.
The easiest and quickest set up is to go to your wifi network settings in your devices (Settings, Wi-Fi), click the arrow to the right of the connection and so click on Forget this connection.
So try to connect again.

I fabricated the connection because before the crash of my PC and subsequent upgrade to a new Os, we did non accept this problem all of our apple tree products were able to access the wifi using the same router we withal accept. Once I brought my pc dorsum on to the network, the apple tree products could no longer access the wifi using the same password that our laptops use to connect. So I assumed that the new Bone inverse the network configuration somehow.

Thanks, but obviously nosotros have tried this multiple times. The problem is that somehow my PC has altered the network settings and the password that works for the laptop to connect to wifi is not working for any of our apple products.

The new Windows seven did not affect the iPad or iPhone. It probably replaced the wireless network security settings. As I previously posted, you need to access the D-Link router's internal configuration web pages and cheque / accommodate the wireless network settings / passphrase.

We have done this, it all the same won't let any of our apple products to access the wifi. Information technology acts like the password is not correct, still it is the correct countersign every bit it is the one that the laptop uses to admission wifi and it works for that device. So there must be some interface problem between the network and our apple tree products, but I can't observe anywhere to reset the Network password to effort that as a solution.

The network password is gear up in the wireless router itself. Have you tried power cycling the router? Leave it off for a minute and and then dorsum on and then try and reconnect.
